Citizen
action is one of the keys to maintaining safe
and humane conditions for all who live and work
behind bars. Here's how you can get involved:
1.
Support the CA. One of the most
effective ways for you to make a difference in
prison conditions is to make
a donation to the Correctional Association.
Because it is our mission to hold the criminal
justice system accountable for its policies and
practices, we receive very little government funding.
We rely on contributions from concerned citizens
like you who share our determination to create
a safer and more just society.
If
you'd prefer to send your donation by mail, please use
this form. The
Correctional Association is a not-for-profit
organization recognized under I.R.S. regulations
as a 501(c) (3). All contributions are tax-deductible.

2.
Stay informed. Sign
up for our mailing list and receive updates
about current problems in the system and what
we're doing to resolve them.
3. Join
the movement. The Coalition
for Women Prisoners,
the Juvenile
Justice Coalition, and the Drop
the Rock Coalition to repeal the Rockefeller
Drug Laws are groups of concerned citizens
who advocate for laws that will improve the administration
of justice in New York. To get involved, call 212-254-5700
or email the Correctional
Association.
